Disclaimer
It is important to note that I am not a doctor. I am not a therapist. I am not a life-coach, guru, expert, or licensed practitioner of any kind. I'm just an internet friend.
The content I create for The Attentive Archive is simply a way for me to document my own journey and experiments. I have chosen to share it publicly with the hope that this transparency might benefit someone else, even if it only helps them feel less alone.
Please consult a professional wherever appropriate before following any suggestions made here. Remember that this content is based on one person's experience, and as we all know: If you know one person with ADHD, you know one person with ADHD.
Accessibility
Accessibility is very important to me. Keeping it simple is a large part of why I chose to publish here, on the Bear platform. That said, I am still learning a lot about accessibility and how to optimize for screen-readers and other assistive technologies. Keeping in mind that I'm just one person doing my best back here, I may not do it perfectly but I want you to know I'm trying. If you have accessibility suggestions, please kindly reach out!
Advertising & Affiliate Marketing
The Attentive Archive is committed to providing a clean and focused reading experience. Thus, I will not be running banner advertisements on this site.
Banner ads (like Google AdSense) are typically the most significant source of income for bloggers. I've actually gotten some firm feedback about the financial implications of not running them, but I'm simply not comfortable with that approach. I want to be in control of what's shown to you, my readers, and traditional advertising doesn't offer the transparency I need to be certain that the content displayed aligns with the site's values. My goal is to provide a focused experience for you, without unexpected distractions.
Posts containing affiliate or referral links will contain a clear disclaimer at the top.
I will never recommend any product I don't fully believe in.
Sponsorships, affiliations, or brand deals will be carefully considered
- If I don't think it will benefit my readers there is no reason for me to promote it, this is a hard line for me.
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
All of the content on The Attentive Archive is written by an actual human being.
